Discharge formalities

In the morning after 11.00 am on medical advice and confirmation of discharge by the supervisor.

You must collect the following from the department's medical secretariat:

• Biological tests
• X-rays
• Electrocardiogram (ECG)
• Prescriptions for discharge treatment
• Nursing care and physiotherapy (if necessary)
• Blood tests
• Transport voucher (if necessary)
• Work stoppage (if necessary)
• Liaison form (if transfer to another care facility).

At the switchboard

You must collect: Deposits (remote control, etc.), Safe deposits
You must pay for: Accompanying meals, television, telephone, etc.

At the admissions office

You must pay :

• If you are covered by social insurance: in the event of non-reimbursement by your mutual insurance company, the cost of your stay (fixed daily rate, private room, etc.).
• If you are not covered by social security: the full cost of your stay (except for the conditions listed in the "administrative documents to be presented" table on the "Stay" page, depending on your status).

Since 1st September 2006, a fixed contribution of €18 is payable by those with social insurance for all medical and surgical procedures costing €91 or more.

Transport

The medical secretariat or duly authorised service staff will arrange for the VSL to be used, depending on the doctor's advice.

Satisfaction

With a view to constantly improving the quality of care and services provided, we would like to thank you in advance for taking the time to fill in the satisfaction questionnaire which will be given to you on discharge. It should be given to the department manager or left in the letterbox on your ward.

Each questionnaire is carefully examined and your observations, comments and suggestions are taken into consideration.
