Clinique Axium is moving towards computer-assisted orthopaedic surgery.
Since 24 October, it has been officially equipped with the Mako robot, to meet the growing needs of patients suffering from osteoarthritis of the knee - 30% of the over-65s.
Already at the forefront of technological innovation, the clinic is now offering this type of robotic surgery, which is synonymous with a more precise and more individualised procedure, with faster recovery times.
"The acquisition of the Mako robot is part of our overall drive for technological innovation, against a backdrop of increasing robotisation of surgical procedures. We are proud to be one of the three Almaviva establishments to be equipped with it", says Nadia Julienne, Director of Clinique Axium.
